IBM Websphere MQ Architect required for long-term project contract, working for a leading global IT Consultancy onsite in Stuttgart with their client, a major name in the Automotive industry. Summary: · Designing Websphere Liberty solution for various offerings · Integrating Websphere Liberty solutions with identify, monitoring and event management solutions · Ability to assess the solution from nonfunctional aspects · Defining migration path from Websphere-to-Websphere Liberty · Ability to handhold migration and build teams in building Liberty environment that meets customer needs · Act as a product owner and make sure that product lifecycle management is performed on periodic basis · Enhance the solution based on the application teams’ feedback & requirements. · Must possess experience as an enterprise architect for a completed large-scale project · Must have undertaken the role of Technology Architect in a few projects · Must have experience of architectures involving system planning, networking, operating systems, cloud, backup & archival, EMS, RPO/RTO management · Must have experience of at least two projects involving transformation & migration · Ability to cope in a technically complex and fast-changing environment, and to respond calmly and rationally to changing aspirations in a deadline-driven situation. · Must have experience in architecting Hybrid Cloud solution and exposure to Software Defined Datacenter · IBM Websphere Liberty solution · TOGAF Certified Enterprise Architect is desired · ESXi, NSX, vSAN, VCF, KVM, Neutron, CEPH, OpenStack, Compute (Blade), SAN (IBM, DellEMC, HPE), NAS (NetApp, ISILON), Object, Backup (DellEMC, Veeam), Physical Hosting, OS (Win, Lin), DB (Oracle, SQL, DB2, MongoDB)  Additional Requirements: German speaking to B2 level or above (ideally fully business-fluent) There may be scope for some flexible remote working after an initial period onsite to build relationships and trust with all parties. Storage & Backup Lead required for long-term project contract, working for a leading global IT Consultancy onsite in Frankfurt or Stuttgart with their client, a major name in the Automotive industry. Summary: Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in Storage domain. Understand and analyze client requirements in Storage, Backup and DR area (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Storage and backup Develop Architecture, high level and low-level Storage and backup design drawings and design documents. Produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing Lead a team of 5-10 people Requirements: SME with good knowledge on the following technologies - SAN (HPE 3Par, IBM, Dell EMC), NAS (ISILON, Unity, NetApp), Object (HPE, iTernity), HPE/ Cohesity, Dell ECS Backup (Veeam, IBM ISSP, Dell EMC) Architect, Install and configure storage, backup, and DR solutions Required deep technical skills in Storage & SAN Domains, In depth knowledge of storage & backup subsystems like Netapp, Dell / EMC, Hitachi, Commvault/Veritas backup solutions Deploy, Manage and troubleshoot SAN performance Deep experience in Installation and configuration of storage subsystems is required Experience in Performance Analysis and Tuning of storage subsystems is mandatory Experience in Storage data migration techniques is most important SAN switch deep knowledge base should include Brocade/CISCO switches, Director & routers Design and deploy backup and DR solutions SAN, NAS data migrations across heterogenous storages Fluent in German and English Daily rate is negotiable, depending on your experience and qualifications.
